How Unseen Roll works

Set the night.
Let everyone shoot.
See it later.

Create the event, share one QR code, and give every guest a limited-shot camera on their phone. The roll stays out of the way while the night is happening, then develops into one shared reveal.

No app-store download · One event QR

The whole flow

From setup to reveal.

  1. 01 Create Host

    Set the night.

Pick the date, the guest count and the roll, choose the look and when the gallery opens. Free up to 10 guests; bigger nights pay once at checkout.

Meanwhile Guests see nothing yet. You get one link and one QR.

  2. 02 Invite Host → guests

    Share one QR.

Print it, place it on the tables, or send the event link. Guests scan, sign in, and join the roll from their browser. The first scan starts the night and locks the setup.

  3. 03 Shoot Guests

A limited camera, in the browser.

Guests use the camera you configured. Their roll and remaining frames are always visible; the photos are not.

Meanwhile You see how many rolls are out and how many frames are shot. Not the photos.

  4. 04 Close System or host

    The roll closes.

Capture stops at the time you set, or the moment you close it early.

Meanwhile Guests get an "out of film" screen.

  5. 05 Develop System

    The photos develop.

Every frame is processed with the look you chose. Anything the safety check flags waits for your review.

Meanwhile Everyone sees "developing" until the reveal.

  6. 06 Reveal Host and guests

The gallery opens for everyone at once.

At the time you set, or earlier once every photo is developed. Cinematic or plain: your call.

Meanwhile One gallery for the whole event.

Host vs guest

One event.
Two very different jobs.

Host

Sets the rules.

  • Sets the event timing
  • Chooses the guest count and rolls
  • Chooses the camera rules
  • Controls when the roll closes and the gallery opens
  • Can lock joins, remove a guest, hide a photo, and turn names on photos on or off

Guest

Shoots the night.

  • Scans the QR and signs in with Apple or Google
  • Adds a name if they want and accepts the rules
  • Shoots with the roll the host configured
  • Waits for the reveal like everyone else
  • Sees the gallery, downloads their own shots, and can ask for a takedown

The camera has rules

The camera has rules. Some are yours to set.

What guests see

From the QR to the camera.

  1. 01 Scan

The event QR opens the join page in their browser.

  2. 02 Sign in

No app-store download. No new password to create.

  3. 03 Join

A name if they like, a tap to agree to the house rules.

  4. 04 Camera

Their roll, a frame counter, one button.

Works without signal: shots wait on the phone and upload when the connection comes back.

During the event

Once the QR is out,
go back to your event.

Nothing to keep open, nothing to approve while people are shooting. The roll closes itself at the time you set, and the reveal opens itself when it is due.

Close → develop → reveal

What happens between the last shot and the first look.

  1. Closed

Capture stops. Guests see "out of film".

  2. Developing

Photos are processed with your look. Flagged frames wait for you.

  3. Ready

Every photo is developed. You can open early.

  4. Revealed

The gallery opens for everyone at once.

  • Plain

    Straight into the gallery.

  • Cinematic

A short film-roll sequence, then the gallery.

After the reveal

Who can do what.

Host

  • Full-size originals, one by one, at no cost
  • A ZIP of the whole roll and extra gallery time as optional extras
  • Hide any photo, review flagged ones, decide on takedown requests
  • The gallery stays online for the time included with your package

Guest

  • The whole gallery, not just their own shots
  • Their own shots in medium size with a small watermark
  • Captions for seven days after the reveal
  • A takedown request for a photo of themselves

Now make it yours

Start free for up to 10 guests.

For larger events the price depends on your guest count and the roll you choose, and it shows before you create anything.

Still wondering

Do guests need an app?

No. The QR opens the camera in their browser, and it keeps working without signal.

Do guests need to sign in?

Yes, with Apple or Google, so every photo belongs to someone and the roll counts stay honest. No password, no form beyond an optional name and the house rules.

Can guests see photos during the event?

Not by default. Nobody sees anyone's shots, their own included, until the reveal. Hosts can allow a short glance right after a shot.

Can I change settings after creating the event?

Until the first guest scans, yes. From then on the setup is locked; you can still close the roll early, lock joins, remove a guest and open the reveal once it is ready.

When does the gallery open?

At the reveal time you set, or earlier if you open it once every photo is developed. We suggest the morning after.

Set the roll.
Share the QR.
Go enjoy the night.

The rest happens on its own: the roll closes, the photos develop, and everyone sees the night at once.
